⬛ My Bicycle Story
Bicycle - It is not just a two wheeled vehicle but for many people like me, it is not less than a long story itself.
I was that kind of a kid who was scared of almost all physical activities. My father bought the first bicycle for me when I was six years old. They wanted me to learn to ride it, but I was scared. I was riding it but only with supporting side-wheels which assures you that you'll not fall-off. But one day my father removed that supporting stands and asked me to ride the bicycle.
But I was so scared that I didn't touch it for a half year. One day my mother scolded me for being so scared and asked me to ride the bicycle.
Then I thought and decided that, I'll learn to ride bicycle. In the evening I put the alarm for early in the morning. The next morning, I went on school ground with my father. For some time, my father was holding my bicycle from the back, and asked me to pedal. After sometime, he removed his hand. I was riding the bicycle continually and suddenly I became conscious. My Bicycle was out of control and I was crying on the ground.
My father then said to me, "If you'll never fail, You'll never learn and will never be confident. Good that you failed early, you'll be learning it soon."
That day I learnt how to balance bicycle. I became confident about bicycle riding. The story of bicycle continued. I was riding bicycle almost everyday for some or the other reason. After clase X, I was sent to a hostel. There, I missed riding bicycle.
Then the pandemic happened. But after pandemic, I thought of giving myself some mental and physical exercise. I bought bicycle. I was riding bicycle for two and half hours daily for three to four months continuously.
Everyday I was getting new experiences. I was wandering, Talking with people I was meeting during my journey on the roads, sometimes going nearby the river, farms, etc. That times I learnt many things, talking to myself and my bicycle.
The story did not end. Nowadays I am busy in my routine life, but I do ride my bicycle as I get some free time.
This was my Bicycle Story. Let me know yours in the comments.
HAPPY WORLD BICYCLE DAY. 🚲
